Bodywhys
Western Webs have extensive experience with the Charity sector in Ireland. We have developed the online fundraising platforms www.idonate.ie and www.ifundraise.ie . This experience gave us a great advantage when it came to redeveloping the website for Bodywhys – The Eating Disorders Association of Ireland.
Western Webs task was to redevelop the Bodywhys website. We set out a plan to migrate several hundred pages of previously written important content to a WordPress CMS. We added many new features including a services directory, resources library, plus we improved the overall navigation structure of the website.
A significant part of this project was developing of a custom Online Support Group system. We developed a bespoke full stack chat room system for Bodywhys service users. The software allows users the opportunity to take part in schedule meetings online, thus greatly increasing worker efficiency.
